Hello, my name is Tricia Nguyen, and I am originally from San Jose, CA, but I currently live in Chicago, IL. After high school, I earned my bachelors at UC Davis and PharmD at Washington State University College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. During my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors (hiking/backpacking/snowboarding), attending live music events, cheering on Bay Area sports teams, and staying active (weights/spin/yoga).

If you could give your high school self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Everything will work out, and you will end up where you need and want to be!
Did you have any goals that pushed you throughout high school? How did you approach those? Are you still pursuing them now that you're out of high school? If not, why?
What experience had the greatest impact on you at EVHS?
Some of my favorite memories include being on the Interact District 5170 board + Interact president, going to marching band competitions, and being involved in homecoming/battle of the classes. I loved just being able to hang out and see my friends every single day.
Have you kept some relationships with the people you were with in high school?
Some of my closest friends are from my high school group, and we still try to get together at least once a year!
Do you still live in San Jose? Why or why not?
No, I currently live in Chicago, IL, because this is the only time I'll be able to get to live a true city life! I also moved away to Washington for pharmacy school, and it was such a fun experience.
What was your primary academic/extracurricular focus in high school?
Academic focus: biology/science; Extracurriculars in HS: marching band / band, Interact, CSF, homecoming, battle of the classes, battle of the tribes
Are you in college? If so, which college and what major? Are you working? If so, where? If you're not in either of these, what are you doing now?
I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Nutrition Science, and completed my PharmD at Washington State University College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. I also completed 2 years of pharmacy residency at UC Davis Health, and I am now working at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as a critical care pharmacist.
