Biology and AP Biology relatively cover the same topics, but the depths of those topics differ. Topics include: genetics, cellular processes, inheritance, evolution, ecology, etc.
Whats one fun fact about you?
How should students prepare to take your class? What are things they should know before taking your class?
Bio: Be prepared to keep referring back to the Scientific Method and Experimental Design all throughout the year.
AP Bio: Be prepared for a hard and fast-paced class (and takes two periods).
What advice would you give to incoming students?
I’d advise them to take the opportunity to get to know their classmates and to focus on understanding rather than just getting things done. I’d also advise them to ask questions for clarification (I’m not as scary as I seem!).
What are some big projects or things you learn in your class?
What are some of your involvements on campus? (ex: advisor for ___ club)
